Product Description

1864年にシカゴで創業したWashburn。テナーギターやシュライン型ギターなど、ブランド独自の意匠を取り入れた様々なモデルを送り出しました。パーラーサイズのギター製作でも有名で、この時期は同じシカゴのLyon & Healy（ライオン＆ヒーリー社）で製作が行われており、非常に評価の高い年代でもあります。本機は1920年代初頭生産のスタイル1124。トップ材は独特の白っぽい色味と弾力性を感じさせるアディロンダックスプルース（レッド・スプルース）、サイドバックはブラジリアンローズウッド、エボニー指板。バックの杢目はサップが入った見事な杢目です。この時期のギターだけあってトップ、サイドにクラック修理歴があり、全体が薄くオーバーラッカーされておりますが、驚くほど軽量なボディーからは想像がつかないほど量感を感じるサウンドを奏でてくれます。リフレット済みで演奏性良好！希少なPre-War期のWashburn、近い年代のGeib社製チップボードが付属致します。
