Gibson 1956 J-45 - original 1950s Gibson with the thick, earthy, well-aged tone that modern reissues cannot reproduce, in a condition that can be used as a real working guitar.
- Big 1950s neck: the substantial "baseball bat" neck profile of the era transfers string vibration fully into the body, producing a thick, focused low-mid range.
- Non-scalloped X-bracing: the core of the '50s J-45. This tough construction holds up to hard strumming, and after roughly 70 years of drying it delivers a crisp, dry, percussive tone.
- Period looks: large teardrop pickguard, beautifully faded sunburst finish, and weather checking across the body - genuine character that artificial aging cannot replicate.

Playing wear, dings, and weather checking throughout, giving it authentic vintage character. Repaired crack along the upper right of the soundhole (fingerboard side). Repaired crack along the lower right of the soundhole (beside the pickguard). Repaired crack at the lower center of the back (left side). Finish at the neck heel indicates a past neck reset. Neck has been overlacquered. Bridge plate repaired for a crack at its lower part. Nut and saddle replaced. Tuners replaced. Bridge pins replaced.
[Playing Condition]
No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good. Action at the 12th fret: 2.3mm low E side, 1.9mm high E side. Saddle protrusion approximately 2.0-3.5mm.
