Early-model L-10 with solid Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda) back and sides.
The early and late L-10 use different woods: the early model has solid Brazilian rosewood back and sides, the late model solid Palisander. With Brazilian rosewood now very hard to obtain, many players seek out the early model specifically. Solid Ezo spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck - all quality woods, and careful construction keeps it fully playable today.
The sound features rich overtones and deep lows: powerful and present when strummed, delicate and refined in arpeggios, with a sparkling decay that suits gentle songs. After more than 40 years of playing, the body has excellent resonance and response.

Information is based on our inspection as a used/vintage item. Five cracks on the top, all properly repaired so it can be used with confidence. On the case, the latch pin on the headstock/treble side has come out, and one bottom stud is missing.
[Playing Condition]
Action at the 12th fret: 1.7mm low E side, 1.5mm high E side. Saddle protrusion approximately 1.5-2.0mm. No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good.
