1992年からオレゴン州ポートランドでギター製作開始し、現在はハワイ島在住のビルダー"Woodley White"氏が手掛ける”Pu’uwai”(プウワイ)。”Woodley White”氏はクラシックギター、アコースティックギター、エレキギター、ハープギター等の楽器製作でも有名で、プロミュージシャンのウクレレも手掛ける等、その技術、実力は本物。本器は非常に杢目の美しいハワイアンコア材を用いて製作されたソプラノロングネックモデル。スパニッシュシダーネック、エボニー指板、ハカランダダブルホールブリッジ、エボニーボタングローバーペグ、ローズウッドバインディング、アバロンロゼッタ&パーフリング。ヘッドにはハワイ語でハートを意味する”Pu’uwai”のデザインロゴが施されております。木材、装飾のグレードが高く、とても華やかな1本。可愛らしく小振りながらも低域のふくよかさ、高域の透明感、レンジの豊かさがあり、ボリュームもしっかりと出てくれます。使用に伴った細かな傷や、バインディング部の塗装チップ、経年によりトップの沈みなど使用感はあるものの、割れなどの大きなダメージはございません。弦高も標準値です。こだわり派の1本。汎用ギグケースが付属いたします。
