The back and sides use Mexican rosewood, a premium tonewood from Mexico and Central/South America, producing a deep, rich sound that expands the player's expressive range.

The cutaway gives smooth access to the upper frets for technical solo playing, and the manageable body size minimizes fatigue during long gigs and recording sessions.
