Ovation 2004 1777LX Legend LX, made in the USA.
This LX series model retains the center soundhole style while achieving a lighter body and significantly updated acoustic characteristics. A carefully selected solid AA-grade Sitka spruce top is paired with advanced scalloped LX bracing, producing a clear tone with excellent string separation and rich sustain.
The rich resonance of a solid wood top combined with the tightness of the composite body creates an expressive acoustic sound that challenges the conventional image of Ovation. The mid-depth Lyrachord bowl balances comfort with full low-mid resonance, fitting the player's body for reduced fatigue during long sessions. The ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays adds to the pride of ownership.
The guitar truly shines when plugged in. The high-output OCP-1K piezo pickup and high-performance OP-Pro preamp deliver a thick, focused, and transparent line sound that cuts cleanly through even a loud band mix.
