A 1973 Rickenbacker "480 Azureglo" has arrived in stock
The "480" model from the Rickenbacker 400 Series, featuring the body shape of the 4000 Series
This particular model, manufactured in 1973, features the Azureglo finish—a popular and rare blue-based color.
It is equipped with two high-gain pickups, a design used since the 1970s.
Externally, while there is some minor wear typical of its age, it has held up well for vintage gear—
it’s in excellent condition!
Internally, all parts are original except for a few screws and the tuners, which have been replaced with Kluson-style tuners that match the original design
This “480” has a secret following, and with its distinctive look, it’s sure to
stand out on stage—even as the lead vocalist’s guitar!
