ハワイアン音楽がアメリカで流行した20世紀前半に設立されたオアフ・ミュージック・カンパニー。ラベルにOahu Publishing Coとあるようにスチールギター等楽器だけでなく、教材や楽譜の出版、レッスン等の音楽普及にも貢献しました。こちらのスクエアネックのスチールギターは同社が活躍した1930年代から40年代の物かと思われます。弦を上に向けてスライドバーを使って演奏することに特化したギターです。000等のオーディトリアムに近いサイズにオールマホガニーのボディ。ボディ全面とも濃いサンバーストカラーで仕上げられ、白黒のチェックパターンのバインディングやホール飾りが渋く映えるスタイルです。ボディサイドにクラックやバック板剥がれの修理痕が見られ、その他年代物なりに小傷はありますが、使用、演奏上には問題ない状態です。
