L.R. Baggs社製 Element VTC (売価￥26000)のピックアップマイクシステムが標準装備された、エレアコとしても即戦力になる、王道J-45のスタンダードモデル。近年生産体制が見直され、以前の同モデルと比べ丁寧な作り込みであることが確認できます。サドル下にマウントされたElement（ピックアップセンサー）は生音に影響を与える大掛かりなシステムとは異なり、基本アコースティックギターとしてのサウンドを生かした構造となっています。
630mm未満のミディアムスケールから生まれる緩やかなテンションとラウンドショルダーボディーのふくよかなサウンドはGibsonの中でもJ-45独特なもので、他社産のギターを含めても唯一無二のサウンドです。
専用の高級ハードケースに加えて、最新式の湿度調整剤が付属します。
