以前同じようなデザインでボディトップ材にレッドウッドを使ったモデルありましたが、杉の仲間のようですが、絶妙な甘いトーンがJazzyでとても印象に残っています。　　そのモデルを思い起こさせるデザインと音色です。

全体の印象はその材料の組み合わせからクリーントーンはピュアでクリアな印象。オーバードライブの乗りも良く、つないだオーバードライブのキャラクターが出やすいように思えました。セミホロウ特有の中域の膨らみ感が加わるのが、クリーン、歪み問わず心地良いです。JAZZと名に入っていますがジャンル問わず様々な音楽で活躍してくれるはずです。

デザインの特性上、21、22フレットの押弦は困難です。
