ラパトローナ・モデルは若きセゴビアがデビューに際して手にした名器、Ｍ．ラミレスをモデルとして製作されていてボディーシェイプ＆サイズ、ネック形状、ロゼッタデザインなどをコピーしています。

哲郎氏作の同じＭ．ラミレス・コピーとは言え、このパトローナとインファンタモデルとの違いは表面板の見た目の質と横・裏板にマダガスカルローズウッドを使用しているかどうかの差異が価格に反映しています。

このパトローナ・モデルはマダガスカルローズウッドとしては一見ハカランダと見紛うほどの良材を使用しており、音質も邦人製作家の域を超えたスペイン古名器の味わいを感じさせます。
