1956年創立の楽器の老舗輸入商社、荒井貿易その自社ブランドとして1960年に誕生したのがAriaです。"Aria"は「詠唱」などを意味する音楽用語です。

本器はエレガントなルックスで当時センセーショナルなデビューで話題となった「The Sandpiper（サンドパイパー）」シリーズの上位モデル、SP-250のUSED品。

　ヘッド、指板、そしてボディに施されたアバロン装飾が、格調高いSP-250のサウンドとルックスを決定づけています。
ホール周りの浅い弾ききずや所々当てキズはございますが、全体的にはまだまだ綺麗なコンディションを保っております。フレットはローポジションの一番減っているところで6割残りです。
「The Sandpiper」シリーズは、その美しい外観と豊かな音色で、多くのギタリストに愛されてきましたが、現在では生産が終了しており、中古市場でのみ入手可能な希少なモデルとなっています。
