キャパシターやポットまでを研究開発し、独特のセンスでヴィンテージ・ギターを再現する工房RS Guitarworks。
RSはビルダーRoyとScottの頭文字をブランドネームに持つ、アメリカのギター工房。
25年以上もの間リペアやヴィンテージギターの復元を行ってきている経験を持ち、長きに渡りエイジド・ギターを作り続けている当ブランド。これは、アメリカ国内においてパイオニア的な存在であります。
本器は超軽量なSGボディにブラックガードの要を宿した、STee STD Blackguard。

日本市場限定品としてラインナップされた"Standard Series"。
ピックアップは新たにRSがオリジナルで開発製作されたRSオリジナルP.U.搭載し、POT、コンデンサー等のエレクトロニクス・パーツ、ハードテイル・パーツなどは汎用品の使用、GIG BAG付きと変更。木材はレギュラーシリーズと同じ供給先からRSがスタンダードシリーズ用にセレクト。カラー、エイジド・パターン等が限定される部分は有りますが、レギュラーモデル同様にRS職人が１本１本同じ作り方にて製作されております。
こちらのSTee STD Blackguard日本からのリクエストをきっかけに誕生した個性的なモデル。BlackguardのサウンドをSGシェイプで出せないかというギタリストからのリクエストを受け、それは面白いとRSに依頼して完成したのが経緯がございます。
ボディ厚もSGの薄いものでなくBlackguardと同じ厚さ。これがまた通常のテレ・トーンにも関わらずこのギターでないと出ないトーンを醸し出してくれてます。
ボディにはポロウニア（桐材）を使用しており、ギターの重量はなんと2.33kg、驚異的な抱え心地です。
見た目に反してスタイルを選ばずに対応できるサウンド、自分がカッコ良いと思えるものを選べる個性派のギタリストにお勧めです。
