円熟の50’sトーンと風格を宿す、ラウンドショルダーの名器 ”Southern Jumbo" 1955年製ビンテージ品。
Product Description
ギブソンフラットトップの中でも確固たる人気を誇るサザンジャンボの1955年製ビンテージ品。ラウンドショルダーギブソンの中でもJ-45の上位機種の位置づけとして発売された本器は現代でも人気モデルのひとつです。スプルーストップ、マホガニーサイド&バック、マホガニーネック、ハカランダ指板、ペグはリプレイスでギブソンクルーソンスタイルペグ、クラウンヘッドロゴ、ダブルパラレログラム指板インレイ、ダブルリングロゼッタ、7プライバインディング、スキャロップド・エックスブレイシング。ナット幅は約43mmで、しっかりと握り応えのあるネックシェイプです。ジャンルを問わず扱いやすい、バランスの取れた形状といえるでしょう。サウンドホール1弦側、ピックガード沿う形で2箇所のクラック補修。トップエンド部に1箇所、バックには3個所のクラック補修がございます。ヘッドGibsonロゴの真上には壁吊り用の金具などが取り付けされていたのかヘッド裏まで穴を開けていた痕跡がありますが、現在は木埋めがなされています。その他、使用・経年に伴った傷や打痕、塗装の荒れなど使用感はあるものの50年代後期モデルらしい芯の太い基音にややコンプのかかった、ジャキッとした歯切れの良さ。ギブソンらしい泥臭さを感じさせる響きが存分にお楽しみいただける一本です。汎用ハードケース付属。
