Product Description

Larson Bros Maurer Presentation（中古品）です。

1900年代初頭から1940年代頃にかけて、質の高いスティールストリングスのギターを製作していたラーソンブラザーズ。マウラーやプレイリー・ステート、ユーフォノンと言ったブランドの楽器のOEMを専門に請け負っていました。

本機は、復刻版として発売された近年物のラーソン・ブロスです。特別なモデルだったようでフィンガーボード、サウンドホール、ブリッジ、ヘッドストック等に精巧なインレイが施され、サイド・バックには、豪華な木目のハカランダが贅沢に使用されております。

スロテッドヘッドの14Fジョイント仕様、ボディサイズは、約15インチほどで000サイズに近いサイズ感です。スケールは約25.5インチですので、演奏感はOMモデルに近いと言えると思います。ルックスは、古めかしい雰囲気ですが、14フレットジョイントで現代的なスタイルといった印象です。

トップは、美しいヨーロピアンスプルース、サイドとバックは、最高級材ハカランダ、ネックは、マホガニー、フィンガーボードとブリッジは、エボニーというウッドマテリアルです。内部構造を見てみますと、Xブレイシングが採用されておりますが、ラミネートのブレイシングになっているのが特徴です。ネックまわりは、約45ミリのナット幅に、薄めのソフトVといった感じで、比較的どなたにも馴染みやすいと思います。ペグは、ゴトーのオープンタイプが搭載されております。

サウンドは、音の深みがありながらクリアできれいです。フィンガーでつま弾いた時は、すごく艶やかで良い感じです。また軽めのストロークもマイルドで纏まり感良くとても気持ちが良いと思います。ハカランダのしっかりとした出音、硬質で華やかさのあるサウンドはやはり素晴らしいです。

コンディション等につきましては、後付けでピックアップが搭載されていたようで、現在は、ピックアップは搭載なく、ジャックサイズのエンドピンが付いています。指板エンドのバインディングは巻きなおされています。演奏性確保のためサドルは、下げられており、1弦側はほとんど余裕がない状態です。フレットは、ご使用に問題ないレベルです。使用キズなどは、少なく年式を考慮いたしますときれいな外観を保っていると思います。製造は、2000～2010年代と思われます。

こういった内容の豪華な装飾を持ったハカランダモデルは市場少ないと思いますので、グッとこられた方は是非、お手に取ってお確かめいただければと思います。
