Product Description

1966年にスタートしたジャパンブランド「ELK（エルク）」。当時のギター・ブームに乗って多くのキッズにエレキギターやアンプなどを届けたブランドでした。1970年代後半に製造を中止していましたが、2016年に名器“CUTLASS（カトラス）を復刻し話題に、そして近年、新たな装いでブランドが復活、エレアコ、エレガット、ウクレレなどが展開されております。

本機は、新生エルクが手がけるハイコストパフォーマンスな7弦仕様のエレガットモデルです。LOW”B”追加による低音はやはり魅力的です。またネックまわりは、56mmナット幅、握りやすいスリムシェイプで、スムーズな演奏を可能にしているのも魅力です。シンプルなルックスながらフルグロス仕上げで美しくサウンドホールロゼッタも良い感じです。

ウッドマテリアルは、シトカスプルース単板トップ、マホガニーのサイド・バック、マホガニーネック、ローズウッドのフィンガーボードです。ピックアップシステムには、チューナー内蔵型の”Fishman Clasica 3″が採用されており、ボリューム、ベース、ミドル、トレブルの3バンドEQ、フェイズスイッチ、LEDディスプレイ付きチューナー搭載です。9Vバッテリー駆動です。

サウンドは、あたたかみがありとても心地良く、ローが膨らみすぎなくてバランスも良いです。ボサ・ノヴァ系のプレイヤーの方に特にお勧めです。
