裏板にバラのデコレーションが施された石井栄氏の最新特別仕様作品。

この作品は表板には厳選された北イタリア産スプルースと裏・横板には上質なローズウッド材を使用していて、良材に裏打ちされた優れた音質となっています。
材と音と外観、すべてにおいて石井氏のこの作品にかける特別な思いが反映しています。

ショートスケールは左手の負担が軽減される理由から、やはり手の小さい女性の需要が多くなるもの。
そう言った実用的な理由もさることながら、ギターの見た目にもアクセントを施すあたり決して無意味とは言えない製作者のお洒落な気持ちが伝わってきます。

この作品はとても630mmとは思えない懐の深いパワフルな鳴りをしており、音質の妥協なく弾きやすさも兼ね備えています。

今年10月に製作歴50週年記念の作品展示会を開くと同時に、ギター製作活動に終止符を打った石井氏ですが、その最終作品からは技術の衰えは微塵もなく円熟味さえ感じさせ、まだまだ一線を張れる製作家であるのに、現役引退は残念な気がします。
