Product Description

この掲載19世紀ギターは6月25日の公開時には製作工房を“Leslie Mead【レスリーミード】”と紹介しましたが、このギターをご覧になった19世紀ギターに詳しい方からのメールが寄せられ、実際製作した工房は“Mauchant【モーシャン】”ではないかとのご指摘を受けました。
ヘッドのエンブレムに刻まれたLeslie Mead【レスリーミード】とは製作工房ではなく、製作依頼主の名前か、それとも依頼主がそのギターをプレゼントする相手先の名前を記念するためであったのだろう、とのことでした。

そういえば5月に販売済みとなっていて今もJ-GUITARから掲載を落としていないMauchant【モーシャン】～https://www.j-guitar.com/products/detail.php?id=130988～とパフリングのデザインが全く同じです。
ギター全体の雰囲気もほぼ同じと言っていいくらい両ギターは似通っています。

違う箇所としてはこのモーシャンの弦長が640mmなのに対して以前在庫のモーシャンは625mm、横裏の材質がハカランダかメイプルか、またロゼッタのデザインも二つは微妙に異なっていることくらいで、これらの相違点は同一工房であれば製作依頼者の注文に応じて起きるスペックの差異の範囲でしかありません。

このギターのコメントとしては、訂正前の解説と同じで、作りは第一級品の完成度、音も19世紀ギターという枠を超えた、天上の響きを醸し出していて生命力もみなぎっています。
パフリングは貝細工仕上げ、裏板のパフリングも象牙製、ペグのツマミにも貝細工がなされ、ボディーフレットも弓矢のデザインが施されています。

形状はフレンチとしてはボディーの流線型が縦に細長く、エレガントさが感じられます。
19世紀ギターにしては珍しい640mmの弦長です。

J-GUITAR掲載前にオーバーホール済みで、状態はパーフェクトです。
