1900年、Herman Carlson Levin（ハーマン･カールソン･レヴィン）が立ち上げたブランド”Levin”。ジャンゴラインハルトが使っていた影響もあり、海外ではカルト的な人気を誇るブランドです。。
本器は、1940年代だと思われる、18インチボディを持つ、DELUXEのヴィンテージ品。

ギブソンのスーパー400やエピフォンのエンペラーに匹敵するサイズ感を持ち、最大幅で約465mm、18インチ以上のサイズ感に圧倒されてしまいます。セルロイドのフィンガーボードインレイは非常に趣があり、ヘッドデザインと合間って、スウィングジャズ黄金期を支えた風格すら感じさせます。

巨大なボディから生み出される懐の深いダイナミックなサウンドは、この楽器でしか体感できません。PAシステムが確立される以前の楽器、いかに音量を大きくすることができるか？といったブランド思想に想いを馳せながら演奏するのも楽しいです。フレディグリーンを気取るもよし、シングルノートでスウィングを奏でるもよし、使い方はプレイヤー次第でしょう。

ボディトップにクラック補修跡が数カ所ございますが、リペア済みですので、演奏上は問題ございません。ネックコンディションも良好で、弦高も低めにセッティングされており、長時間の演奏も全くのストレスフリーでしょう。また、フィンガーボードにはラディウス（アール）が無くフラット指板で、独特の操作性です。
