[Overview].
Silky B-flat trumpet custom series B5LGP with ML throat shape (#2 taper), unthreaded bead 5" copper bell, tuning bell specification. 460' (11.68mm) ML bore. Gold plated finish. Instrument weight 1016 grams. No case. Body only sold. Made in 2012.
[Condition.]
The gold plating is faded throughout, and there are scattered areas where the underlying silver plating is thinly visible (there are no areas where the base metal is exposed). (There are no areas where the base metal is exposed.) There are some small shallow dents and scratches, but there are no noticeable scratches and no history of accidents. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, soft parts have been replaced, and all parts have been serviced and adjusted.
[Features]
This is a tuning bell version of the standard model B5 of the Silky Custom Series (B Series). The tuning bell version, however, does not have a post in front of the bell, resulting in an open and thick sound. The tuning bells also have a moderate buckwheat sound, which improves monitorability. This model is best suited for big bands, horn sections, and other music requiring a gorgeous sound.
