Precision bass from the 70's is gaining popularity!
Precision bass was born in 1951 as the world's first solid electric bass. Needless to say, without this bass, modern music would not exist. Since its release, the Precision Bass has undergone slight changes in usage over time.
This 1978 model has an ash body and rosewood fingerboard.
Natural color with clear heather grains and black pickguard. The finger rest is not original and is an afterthought.
The neck date is 1978, and the body date is unclear, but it is probably 1978. The pickup date and pot date are both 1978.
Although it has a tight bass sound typical of a heavy ash body, it has a rose fingerboard, so you can feel the stickiness in the mid-low range!
