All-mahogany is cool! Martin acoustic bass
The Martin 15 series is characterized by its all-mahogany construction.
The BC-15E is the first bass model in the series.
The BC-15E has a mahogany body and mahogany neck, just like the guitars in the series, and a very simple look with a satin finish.
It has a piezo pickup and no controls, and it just inserts into the jack that doubles as an endpin, making it a very simple structure.
The jumbo body produces a sufficient natural sound, but the cutaway allows comfortable access to the higher frets!
This guitar has a warm, rich bass sound from the mahogany.
It's recommended for acoustic sessions, or as a bass that you can play at home without having to connect to an amp!
