Product Description
This model is only available until the maker's supply of white satin wood runs out!
It has matching white maple neck and bridge,
and even a maple fretboard! The sound is bright and sweet like koa, only better!
Famous has been making beginner's ukuleles for 60 years, and most professional Japanese uke players started on one of these.
This is a carefully handcrafted instrument with a lightweight build, and made with a perfectionist attention to detail. This satin wood model has a tiger stripe grain like koa, and a beautiful gloss finish.
This uke is made with beginners in mind, but many pros use these for travel instruments. The body is high-pressure laminated satin wood, which gives it a density and tone nearly the same as solid wood. The intonation is spot-on, thanks to the compensated saddle.The string height is low, and the strings are low-tension, so no sore fingers! A free soft case and clip tuner is included, so there's nothing else to buy. We'll even throw in an Ukulele Mania cleaning cloth!
