1998年茶位幸信氏に師事し、工房にて12年の修行を積み、ギター、ウクレレの製作技術を習得。2010年満を持して独立を果たす。クラシックギターの原点といえるトーレスの製作方法などを研究し、ウクレレに活かした構造はこれまでのウクレレのイメージを払拭した音色で、コアなウクレレファンを唸らせています。これまで”Furubayashi”、”F’s uke”というブランド名にて多数のウクレレを製作されてきましたが、また新たなコンセプトのもと誕生した話題のブランド”KOU”。デザイン性、使用される材等に更なるこだわりが感じられ、コストパフォーマンス性にも優れたウクレレ。”KOU”というブランド名は持っていただいた方に「幸せ」な気分になってほしい、という思いで名付けられたとのこと。本器はハワイアンコアボディのパイナップルシェイプモデル。コンサートサイズボディにやや長めのセミロングネックを合わせたオリジナルサイズ。良質なハワイアンコア材を使用しており、見た目も美しく、安定性に優れた明瞭なサウンドを大音量で響かせてくれます。ヘッドのセンター、パーフリングに施されたロープデザイン、ロースウッドバインディング、アバロンのロゼッタ、スロテッドヘッドなど、個性的かつ高級感を味わえる仕様。満足度の高い1本と言えるでしょう。ギグケース付き。
