1936年から1940年ほどまでのごく短期間に製造されていたアドバンスト・ジャンボ。ギブソンのラインナップ中最もビンテージの雰囲気を醸し出しているモデルではないでしょうか。アロウヘッドインレイやファイヤーストライプのピックガードカラー、ストレートのレクタングラーブリッジ、ロングスケールなどこのモデル特有の仕様が盛り込まれた魅力的なギターです。こちらはカスタムショップ製のリイシューモデル。アディロンダックスプルーストップにマダガスカルローズウッドサイド＆バックのハイスペックで30年代当時の仕様を再現した特別モデル。指板とブリッジもマダガスカルローズです。ロングスケールにアディロンダックトップのマッチングによりパワフルでキレのあるサウンドで、艶やかさ、重厚な響き、美しい余韻を持ち合わせた同社の他ラウンドショルダーモデルとは一線を画す鳴りにやみつきになるギターです。外観には薄い擦り傷等は見られますが、20年ほどの経過からみればきれいなコンディションを保っており、消耗部品の減りもそれほどなく、大きな調整の必要もなく今後も演奏可能な状態です。
