A rare 1998 model with a blue body and ivory knobs!
With some exceptions, this model featured an orange body and black knobs until around 1997. Then, after a transitional period from 1997 to 1998 (a mix of body and knobs), it was upgraded to a blue body and ivory knobs, and finally to a blue body and black knobs. The sound has also gradually changed. This unit stands out for its fine texture compared to recent models, which tend to have a strong edge and pronounced grain. The natural boost when the compressor is cut is also nice. This FULL-DRIVE 2 is a little different from recent models. It features an alien head design, perhaps drawn by Mike Fuller on a whim (perhaps as a sign of good sound?)!!!
