"A regular Les Paul just isn't enough," "I want a guitar that exudes a unique presence all my own." This Oxblood guitar embodies the dreams of such guitarists.
The legendary guitarist Jeff Beck, who sadly passed away in January 2023, refinished and modified the 1954 Les Paul that he favored, primarily during his Blow by Blow days, to create the original Oxblood.
It still remains fresh in our memory that it fetched the astounding price of approximately 260 million yen at a Sotheby's auction.
This guitar faithfully recreates this historic model. In addition to the ox's blood finish, it features Schaller Rotomatic tuning machines, one-ply black adjustment covers, a logo-less toggle plate, a speed knob and pickguard, a thick neck grip, and a rear pickup mounted extremely close to the bridge.
This guitar is more than just a reproduction; its appeal lies in its practical perfection, recognized by artists. B'z's Takahiro Matsumoto also played this model on the 2019 album "NEW LOVE," praising it for its "stable tuning even with the Burr Bridge," making it a truly authentic instrument.
