Founded in 1987, Fender Custom Shop has dedicated itself to artist models and vintage reproductions, realizing the dreams of guitarists. Among these, the 1952 Telecaster is a perennial favorite that continues to be sold today, beloved by countless players.
The particular model we have in stock this time is believed to have been made in the 1980s, although the neck date has been lost. It faithfully reproduces the details of the original '52 model, with flathead screws, a single-piece maple neck, and an ash body. Furthermore, the neck shape is a V-shape based on the Epiphone Zephyr, perfect for shakehand playing.
The body is crafted from lightweight swamp ash, weighing just 3.23 kg.
In addition to the crisp, defined tone of ash, the low-mids have just the right amount of overtones, producing a pleasant sound without being too harsh. Its sharp picking response allows for flexible control of nuances with your touch. This guitar truly caters to the player's sensibilities.
This model is perfect for players seeking a reliable instrument with vintage-like tone, or for those seeking a special instrument from an early Custom Shop production.
