Product Description
PRSを代表するフラッグシップモデル”Custom 24”。"Paul Reed Smith"が1985年に初めて出展したトレード・ショーで世に発表し、今日でも代表的存在かつ最も人気の高いPRSオリジナルモデルの決定版とも言えるモデル。本器は1989年製"Custom24 10 Top"。現在も変わらず人気カラーのVintage Yellow。加えてブラジリアンローズ指板が使われた初期スペックの1本。独自のダブルカッタウェイシェイプのボディには美しいフレイム杢がしっかりと浮き出たメイプルトップとマホガニーを合わせ、ナチュラルバインディングを施した言わずと知れたデザイン。Pattern Regularネックシェイプ、PRSトレモロブリッジ、ロッキングチューナー、PUにはStandard TREBLE & BASSを採用、1ボリューム、5wayロータリースイッチ、Sweet Switch。デカールロゴやスモールネックヒール、その他ボディ形状やトップのアーチ具合などもこの時期特有の現行とは異なるディテールで、PRSの卓越したデザインセンスの説得力を存分に魅せてくれます。クリアな音像にしっかりと芯のあるグッドサウンド。甘く太いフロントトーンから、重厚なドライブサウンド、コイルタップを使った軽快なサウンドまで、まさに万能モデル的魅力をしっかりと具現化した名モデル。整然として反応の良いアタックと広いレンジを持ちながら、ギター然としたスウィートスポットを突いたこの年代特有のチューニングは弾く楽しみを強く感じさせてくれます。こちら各所細かな小傷、小さな塗装チップ、ボディバックのバックル痕など、経年相応に良く弾かれた様子の伺える外観コンディション。しかし顕著に見た目を損ねるダメージはございません。フレットは8割ほどを残しまだまだしっかり弾いていただける余力があり、ロッドの調整を含め良好なネックコンディション。ローアクションの弾きやすいセッティングができております。現行モデルとはまた異なった魅力と存在感を持つ初期スペック。ぜひご検討ください。オリジナルハードケースが付属。
