2008 Fender Custom Shop "MBS 66 Stratocaster NOS Michiya Haruhata Spec Made by Mark Kendrick" is in stock now!
This "66 Stratocaster NOS" is a custom made by Master Builder "Mark Kendrick" and is believed to have been made to order.
The first signature Stratocaster by Michiya Haruhata, the guitarist of TUBE, who was the first Japanese guitarist to endorse a signature model at the Fender Custom Shop. This model was ordered by Mr. Mark Kendrick with the same specifications as the first signature Stratocaster.
The neck is a one-piece maple neck with a large head in reverse, and the "Fender" head logo is a transition type.
The "Fender" head logo is a transition type, and the fingerboard inlay is made of rare Avalon wood.
The body is made of light weight ash with a white blonde finish!
The pickups were hand wound by master pickup builder "Abigail Ibarra",
The pickups are hand-wound by master pickup builder "Abigail Ibarra" and are equipped with "Michiya Haruhata Original Vinntage Pickups" and gold anodized pickguard.
Controls from the top are Master Volume, Center Pickup Volume, and Master Tone,
The Master Tone knob can be used to turn on/off the front pickup with a push switch.
There are some minor scratches and other minor signs of use, but overall, this is a USED instrument in good condition.
Comes with custom store certificate, spec sheet, warranty card, strap, shield, manual, bridge cover, and original hard case.
