☆For information on mail-order purchases, please see the Shop Information section on our website☆ A 1963 Rickenbacker "425 Fireglo" has arrived. This 1960s Rickenbacker "425" solid-body model
commonly known as the "Toaster," features a single pickup. However, it offers a wide range of sounds through the tone switch, preset capacitors, and tone control knob. This model is also famous as the first Rickenbacker purchased by George Harrison of The Beatles during his first trip to the United States. This particular arrival features a 1963 Fireglo finish!
Externally, while there is some wear consistent with its age, it remains in excellent overall condition! Internally, the truss rod cover has been replaced with a vintage one from a different era, the tuners have been replaced with aftermarket ones of the same style, and the pots and output jack have been replaced.
