"Maton Musical Instruments Company"
1946年に社名が現在の"Maton Musical Instruments Company"になり、その後工場をカンタベリー、ベイズウォーター、そしてメルボルン・ボックスヒルへと工場の規模を拡大しながら拠点を移し、オーストラリアを代表するギターブランドへ成長しました。自国の素材を尊重した個性を放つラインナップは、世界中で愛用者が増え続け、今や世界的なビッグブランドとなりその勢いは止まりません。
本器は50年以上経過したオーストラリア原産の木材を使用し製作されるオーストラリアンシリーズ、EA808。

使用されている木材は全てオーストラリア原産のもの、長年オーストラリアで培ったノウハウの結晶とも言えるシリーズです。
ボディ幅は000と00サイズの中間でありながら、ディープボディ仕様になっているため、抱え易い小柄でありながらもローミッドが豊かなサウンドを生み出します。
ミッドの暖かく太いサウンドが気持ち良く、ハイトーンも明るく、ブルース、歌伴、バッキングにも最高にマッチしそうです。
PUシステムはもちろんメイトンオリジナルシステムのAP5Proを搭載。パワフルなサウンドを生み出すアンダーサドルPUとコンデンサーMicをMixし、リアルなアコースティックサウンドを出力します。
