This ELK fuzz was released in the mid-1970s and is a popular copy of the BIG MUFF! Early version!
This model is a copy of the 1st model of the original BIG MUFF-π. In addition to the "BIG MUFF SUSTAIN'A'R" notation of this early model, there is also a later model with "BIG MUFF SUSTAIN'E'R" lettering. Naturally, the model name was changed to "SUPER FUZZ SUSTAINAR" later on, perhaps because of the problem of naming the exact model. In addition to the "ELK GAKKI CO." brand, "ELECTRO SOUND CO." and non-brand (no description) models can also be found. The tone control is a common high-cut type. The transistor of this unit is 2SC829, but we also confirmed 2SA733, 2SA495, 2SA564 and 2SA564. Please take this opportunity to purchase this valuable model, which has become quite difficult to obtain in recent years.
