Product Description

1935年から1939年の極短い期間、Gibson工場にてOEM生産されていたブランド、Cromwell（クロムウェル）。
本器はシカゴのContinental Music Companyが発売元となったアーチトップモデル、G-4のヴィンテージ品。

最高の雰囲気を放つアーチトップです。それはヴィンテージギブソンそのもので、好きな人にはたまらない魅力を持っています。日本では有山じゅんじさんが使用していることでファンにとっては有名ですが、個体そのものが貴重で一般にはあまり知られていないブランドです。
指板には大型のドットポジションを一直線に縦断するラインが引かれ、ステンシルで書かれたヘッドロゴなどヴィンテージらしいディテールが楽しませてくれます。
ヴィンテージアーチトップの醍醐味とも言える、ガランッとキレの良いビッグサウンドが特徴です。ギブソン愛好家であれば必ずその魅力に取り憑かれるでしょう。
何より嬉しいのは演奏面のコンディション。やや順反り傾向にございますが、近年にフレットや指板もしっかりとメンテナンスされていることが推察でき、弦高は適正で極太三角ネックですが不思議と弾きにくさを感じさせません。サイドの高音弦側ウェスト部付近やボトム付近にクラック跡が見られますが、使用に於いて問題ございません。
ギブソン製ヴィンテージの中ではお買い得な設定となっております。
