ロイドロアー研究家でもありアーティストでもあるトニー・ウイリアムソンも認める大阪に工房を構えるWADE。

本器は、バージトーンプロディーサー搭載、1920年代のロイドロアー期のF-5を見事に復刻したFW-5 with VIRZI tone producerのUSED品。

1990年に工房をスタート、ギター・ベースはもちろん様々な弦楽器の製作を始め、2000年ごろよりフラットマンドリン製作を本格的に始動、1920年代初頭のロイドロアー期のGIBSON F-5を塗装はもちろん構造も徹底的に復元し、世界のプレイヤーやコレクターに高く評価されました。

上田氏の手により削り出された味わいのあるトップ&バックのアーチは、ハンドメイドマンドリンの魅力を存分に楽しむことが出来る仕上がりです。ついつい指でなぞってしまいます。

本器には、1920年代初頭に採用されていたバージトーン（音質を向上させるためにバージブラザーズ社が考案した音響板）のレプリカが搭載されており、極薄シェラック塗装と相まって、ノスタルジックな雰囲気を楽しむことが出来ます。

スクロール部分をはじめ全体的に傷が多く確認できますが、十分に”アジ”として捉えることが出来るでしょう。むしろ格好良く見えてしまいます。

ネックコンディションも非常に良好で、すぐにお使いいただけるコンディション、なかなか入荷しないバージトーン入りのF-5モデル、お探しだった方はお急ぎ下さい！
