名匠「ジョン・ディアンジェリコ」没後工房を継承した「ジェイムズ・Ｌ・ダキスト（95年没）」
彼の没後、国内工場にてOEM生産が行われていました。
本器は代表作でもあるNew Yorkerのエレクトリック仕様DQ-NYEのUSED品。

本人が製作したオリジナルギターは、生産台数が極端に少なく、滅多にお目にかかれません。生前に手がけた"ソロ"、"センチュラ"、2ティアドロップ"などのモデルは斬新で、非常に芸術性が高く、影響を受けた製作家は後を絶ちません。アーチトップギターの世界でギブソン以外のジャンルを作ったといっても決して言い過ぎではないでしょう。
存在感のあるヘッドデザインやボリュームのあるインレイ、グラマラスなボディライン、所有欲を満たしてくれるギターと言えます。
ソフト＆メロウなサウンドは、現代ジャズに素晴らしくマッチし深い音色に心酔してしまいます。またフローティングピックアップなので、生音も豊かに響き、家弾きにもピッタリです。
ヘッドプレートに微量に白濁、ボディに数カ所、打コン等がございますが、目立つ傷は少なく、ネックも含めて綺麗なコンディションを保っております。
