河野　賢（1926〜1998年）は、1960年代にいまやクラシックギター奏者の中で知らぬ人はいない雑誌「現代ギター」を出版、リエージュ国際ギターコンクールで優勝、日本のギター製作技術の素晴らしさを初めて世界に伝えた第一人者とも言えます。

本器は1981年製のNo.30のUSED品。

トップには厳選されたスプルース、サイド＆バックは綺麗なハカランダを使用、クリアなカシュー塗装仕上げなど拘りが感じられます。河野ギターのサウンドはとことん正統派、どっしりと深く響く力強い低音とコシのある高音域でこれぞクラシックギターとも言える上質な響きです。ピックアップをマウントしてライブで、、、というよりかは、シンフォニーホールのような会場で弾いてみたい楽器と言えます。
