PRS SE Custom 24 Burled Ash Limited Editionは、1985年にPRSのフラッグシップ・モデルとして誕生したCustom 24の基幹となる仕様を継承しつつ、洗練されたルックスを兼ね備えたモデルです。
バールド・アッシュのヴェニアを施した本モデルは、PRS 85/15 “S”ピックアップを搭載し、伸びのある高音域とタイトで密度のある低音域を生み出します。また、コイルタップ機能付きのプッシュ/プル・トーンを搭載することで、ハムバッカーだけでなく、シングルコイルのサウンドを組み合わせたサウンドメイキングが可能となっています。メイプル・トップ、マホガニー・バック、ワイド Thin メイプル・ネック、そしてPRSのバード・インレイを施したローズウッド指板は、PRSが誇るサウンド・クオリティと高いプレイヤビリティを生み出す大きな要因となり、PRSオリジナルのトレモロは、チューニングの安定性が高く、繊細なアーミング・プレイができることも大きな魅力となっています。
