Honduras MahoganyとJacarandaを使用することでヴィンテージバーストと全く同様のウッドマテリアルで製作されたg7 Special g7-LPS Series 9 Figured Top Vintage Faded Honey Burstです。
g7 Specialは新宿区に工房を構える国産ハイエンドギター工房で数多くのヴィンテージ楽器のリペア経験に基づく圧倒的な完成度、説得力を持っており、ビンテージの使い込まれたギターのようなフィーリングをもったトラディショナルな楽器製作で高い支持を得ています。そのクオリティの高さからプロギタリストの愛用者も多く、年々注目度の上がっているブランドです。
本機はボディトップにFigured Hard Maple、ボディバックとネックにはHonduras Mahogany、指板には希少でトーンウッドの王様であるJacarandaを採用しています。大変貴重なヴィンテージバーストと同様の木材を惜しげもなく使用し、ヘッドストック形状、ボディ外周、アーチ形状を実際のオリジナルバースト個体よりプロファイリングデータ化し、ヴィンテージそのもののシェイプを再現することにより、一般的なリイシューとは一線を画すクオリティと存在感を放っています。
ピックアップには伝説のPAFピックアップを完全再現と名高いVintage Maniacs Hysteric PAF Setを搭載。良質なウッドマテリアルと相まって、立ち上がりがはやい明瞭さと太さの感じられるミドルのある心地よいサウンドが魅力です。ブリッジは Guardian APB-1 & Aluminum Tailpiece、ペグにはクルーソンペグを使用しています。塗装は極薄のラッカーフィニッシュを半ツヤで仕上げており、g7 Specialならではのハイクオリティな金属パーツへのエイジド加工により、長い間、大切に使われてきたような雰囲気を醸し出しています。
本機は極薄塗装のため細かな塗装ダメージや擦り傷等がみられますが使用感の少ない状態です。ネックの状態も良好でトラスロッドの順反り・逆反り方向共に余裕があります。フレット、ナットの減りもほぼ見られず、電装系の状態も良好です。Gibson Custom ShopのHistoric CollectionやTure Historicを検討されておられる方に是非お試しいただきたいギターです。
