This unit is based on a Stratocaster from around 1977-1978. The assembly has been completely replaced, and although it shows considerable signs of use, it has been played a lot, so the whole thing sounds good.
It weighs an amazing 3.33kg for its age, which is very light, and has a light and airy feel that sets it apart from the typical heavy ash era Stratocasters. The rosewood fingerboard uses a land board method, achieving a tight and balanced sound across the entire range.
The pickups are probably Texas Specials made by the custom shop. In addition to the mature tone of vintage guitars, this guitar is easy to use and has a modern sense of power.
