Stratocaster made by the first master builder Fred Stuart!!
The Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 as Fender's highest-end section.
When the Custom Shop was established, Fred Stuart was approached by the Custom Shop.
Fred worked with Gene Baker and J.W.Black on artist models and vintage reproduction models, and has also worked on guitars for famous artists such as Jimmy Page and Billy Gibbons.
The Stratocaster we have just received is equipped with Fender Gold Les Sensor/Dually pickups, a two-point tremolo bridge, and Sperzel locking pegs.
The neck is made of maple with dense flames and a slab rosewood fingerboard. The body is made of ash and has a recess for a Mid Booster and battery.
The cavity is painted with conductive paint, and although it is difficult to tell whether it is a specification from the time it was new, it has a highly expandable body recess.
While it has the crisp tone unique to the Fender Gold Lace Sensor, it also has a slight airiness, and you can feel the warmth of the clean to crunch sound.
The Fender Gold Les Sensor Dually in the rear position has a mellowness like a P-90, and a warm hum sound that complements the modest power of the Gold Lace Sensor.
The mini switch between the tones can also be used to output the Dually as a normal single coil.
The neck has a thin C-shape, making it a modern Strat.
