The American Vintage series was born in 1982, when Fender made a serious return to its roots. At the time, there were no custom shops yet, and this series was essentially Fender's top line, launched to faithfully reproduce the famous machines of the golden age. This 1983 model is a rare one from the early days of the series. It is a historically valuable model that was produced at the now-closed Fullerton factory.
The Fender USA American Vintage '57 Stratocaster is a reproduction model of the 1957 Stratocaster. It faithfully reproduces the original down to the small head, spaghetti logo, maple one-piece neck, 8-point 1-ply pickguard, and beautiful 2-tone sunburst. The neck is a thin V-shape, with a natural grip even in the high positions, and excellent playability.
After more than 42 years, the wood has matured. Combined with the stable neck condition, this guitar already has a vintage feel. It has a mature tone and a realistic vintage feel that you can never get with a new guitar.
This is a must-have for those who admire vintage Stratocasters, those who value early 80s Fenders, and players who are particular about sound.
