東ヨーロッパの内陸国、スロバキアの首都ブラチスラバ近郊に工房を構えるDowina（ドウィナ）。
日本と同じように明確に四季がある、豊かな自然の中で製作されているハンドメイド・ブランドです。ブラチスラバとウィーンの近郊、ドナウ川とモラヴァ川が交差する中州にある、今ではDEVIN城と呼ばれる古城Dowinaがブランド名の由来です。
2023年から製作がはじまったTimetravel（タイムトラベル）シリーズは、そのシリーズ名の通り時間旅行をテーマにしたモデル名がつけられています。MASTERシリーズと同じくDowinaのトップルシアーが製作するオール･スロバキアン･メイドの手工ギターです。

時間旅行の主役そのものを名に冠し、右へ左へと行き交う旅人をイメージした指板のステップ･インレイ、多くの人に旅立ってほしいという願いが込められた手工品としては破格の価格設定が特長です。中低音域特性に富み甘いトーンが魅力的なカヤ･マホガニー材のボディに、年々貴重になっているドロミテ地方産出のスプルース材を組み合わせた、オール単板のギターです。
ドロミテ・スプルースはイタリア北東部にある山地で、東アルプス山脈の一部であるドロミテ地方で産出したスプルースがこう呼ばれます。古くからストラディバリなど名のあるヴァイオリンなどに使われるスプルースのみがこう呼ばれます。バイオリン製作がキャリアのルーツにあり、ストラディバリを研究していたDowina主宰のStan氏らしいこだわりの選択です。
