Product Description
1960年代より活躍し、「ラテンロック」と呼ばれるジャンルをも確立した名ギタリスト「Carlos Santana」。長いキャリアにおいてGibson SG SpecialやYAMAHAのSGなど様々なギターを手にしてきましたが、近年はPaul Reed Smithのギターを愛奏し続けています。今回入荷の1本は1996年にPaul Reed Smithがブランド初のシグネイチャーモデルとして彼の名を冠して発売した「SantanaⅠ」です。Santana Yellowと名付けられた鮮やかなカラーに見事な杢目のメイプルトップ。1996年から1998年の間に生産されましたが、本機は初年度生産の初期物！アバロンボディーバインディングやヘッドのイーグルインレイなど豪奢な外観もさることながら、使用されているウッドマテリアルは正に一級品。初のシグネイチャーモデルへのブランドのアツい思いが伝わってくるような良材が惜しげもなく使用されています。ピックアップは「Santana Bass」と「Santana Treble」の組み合わせ。Volume / Toneコントロールに加え、それぞれのピックアップのOn / Offスイッチを搭載しています。経年なりの使用感は散見されますが、パーツ類はオリジナルをキープしており演奏性も抜群。ファットで伸びやかなこのモデル特有のトーンを存分に味わって頂けます！ウェイト3.72kg、アーム、ペーパーワーク類、オリジナルハードケース付属。
