Produced in the mid-1980s, during the early days of Fender Japan, the TL72-55 E serial is a quality guitar made by what is now Fujigen (then Fuji String Instrument Manufacturing). Even now, nearly 40 years later, its stable neck condition and mellow body resonance speak for its quality.
This model, a faithful reproduction of a 1972 Telecaster, faithfully recreates every detail, including the modern logo and two-point tension guide. The body is made of beautifully grained Sen wood, which has properties similar to ash, resulting in a lightweight yet full-bodied sound. The sound transfers well through the tubing, resulting in a rich, appealing body resonance. This is a guitar that truly embodies the meticulous craftsmanship that can only be found in a Japanese-made instrument.
This model is highly recommended for those looking for a vintage Telecaster that lets you experience Japanese quality. For those looking for a guitar with authentic sound.
