This is a heavyweight vintage Morley distortion pedal from the 1980s!
MORLEY has released numerous effects pedals since the early 1970s. Many of their pedals generally have a heavy build, but this model, released between the late 1970s and early 1980s, is compact yet truly one of a kind. It features three controls: Distortion, Tone, and Output. It produces a gritty, gain-filled sound—a satisfying distortion sound reminiscent of an MXR Distortion+ with added power. It encompasses sounds from good old American hard rock to the dawn of heavy metal. It also features two LEDs that switch between ON and OFF, adding a unique touch. Its sister pedal, the "Distortion One MOD-D1B," also exists, but that model features two knobs and no Tone control.
12V center-positive power supply/mini jack specification (Can also be powered by one 9V battery. AC adapter not included.)
