ROCKMAN's original distortion sound with a distinctive midrange character!
The ROCKMAN series is the product of Tom Scholz, guitarist for the supergroup "BOSTON," which shook the music scene in the early 1980s with its astounding sound. His genius for sound effects is embodied in the series. Its professional specifications are a culmination of experience and ideas cultivated through live performances on world tours and studio recordings. Its highly patented circuitry delivers a unique sound. With only the essential controls, it's easy to use, even for those unfamiliar with complex equipment. Recommended for beginners. Set the distortion character with DISTORTION HARMONIX and define the tone with the 3-band EQ. The treble boost before the output allows for final adjustments tailored to the situation. The lead boost also allows for an even higher-gain sound. The ROCKMAN's housing is made of a weak plastic, which inevitably leads to cracks and breaks in the screw joints, but this model is free of such issues. The pile of ROCKMANs that was displayed during Boston's 2014 Japan tour was quite impressive! Be sure to experience the authentic sound.
