This 1966 Custom Telecaster is the guitar that will satisfy that desire.
Made while Leo Fender was still with the band, it retains pre-CBS specifications.
The transition logo, thick headstock, rounded rosewood fingerboard, 3-ply pickguard, spiral saddles, and the rich tone of the lacquer finish all prove its authenticity.
The binding is peeling, and the exterior shows signs of battle. But that's exactly what makes this guitar so valuable. The mature sound retains the core of a Telecaster while releasing a warm midrange, and its core remains stable even when distorted.
The frets and nut have been replaced at our shop, making it ready for immediate use.
A rare vintage piece that satisfies both desire and practicality.
