A reproduction of the Italian-made VOX Tone Bender MkI, circa 1965!
This Tone Bender MkI clone, limited to a few units, features NOS germanium MULLARD CV5712 and OC82DM transistors. Choose between "65" mode, which faithfully recreates the original, and "Super Zee" mode, which offers stronger low frequencies, sustain, and higher output (a feature omitted in later models). With the original hammered gold Tone Bender MkI now extremely rare and highly sought-after, this model, which closely replicates the original sound, is extremely significant. It delivers the powerful, exquisite tone of the original, almost like a rumble on the speaker cone. The mild, tasteful fuzz sound, with just the right amount of gate, is addictive. This is an extremely rare example, even among the rarest and most difficult-to-find pieces of this guitar. It's in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.
