This is the maestro "Bass Brassmaster," a legendary octave fuzz for bass!
Produced in the early 1970s, the Bass Brassmaster, as its name suggests, was designed to recreate the sound of brass (wind instruments) on the bass. Its powerful and unique sound has made it a coveted item among many fuzz enthusiasts, including professionals. Controls include BRASS VOL., which adjusts the fuzz volume; BRASS 1-2, which selects between two tones; SENSITIVITY, which adjusts the intensity; HARMONIC 1-2, which selects between two harmonics; and BASS VOL., which adjusts the balance of the original sound. Of course, it can also be used with guitars and other instruments, creating a powerful sound. While essentially a sub-octave fuzz, it's simply roaring. Its earth-shattering, heavy sound is imminent. Its unconventional sound, quite different from brass in a good way, has captured the hearts of many fuzz enthusiasts. Considered a 1970s unit, it appears to be in relatively good condition. This model is rare and extremely hard to find on the market today, so finding one in this condition could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
